1. Can you please tell me a little about your yourself and your professional background.
US Military, Logistics and Purchasing Manager for over 30 years. I am also still active in the Reserves.
Having been with the military so long when I came home I wanted to work for myself.
Be some kind of Entrepreneur.
2. How did you start your entrepreneurial ventures?
Saved money, then I decided to go real estate school because I always heard that you get out what you put into this business and I am not scared of hard work as long as I get rewarded.
I found an agency to associate with and to started working.
3. What were the most challenges and the most rewards as an entrepreneur?
Challenges are time management, but being able to schedule my time myself is a big help. If I want to work from Noon to 11pm it still works and I had a strong 10 hour day.
Rewards are making sales and helping people find their dream home. It is very rewarding to help a client through what they see as very crazy and stressful time for them.
4. What advises would you give to the startup entrepreneurs?
Save a huge amount of money beforehand because expenses are going to pop up everyplace and you’re going to need to weather the storm of any new startup business of trying to get the cash to flow on a regular basis.
In the Real Estate business it’s like just leave your wallet on the table for people to reach in all the time for about 1 year.
5. What would you be doing if you were not in your current field?
That requires me to be independently wealth and if that was the case I would writing, travel & sleeping more!
