Mark Schmitt is the Director of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Cochise College. The SBDC is a nation-wide resource for small business owners helping with Workshops and Training Programs, Business Plan Assistance, Market Feasibility and Research, Cash Flow Analysis, Identifying Sources of Capital, Intellectual Property, Applying for Business Certifications, just to name a few. The SBDC is in a partnership with the Small Business Association (SBA). This partnership has been in effect for the last 40 years. The SBA is a federal resource for small businesses.
Mark Schmitt has been the director of the SBDC at Cochise College for the last ten years. Before his time working with the SBDC, he has been a serial entrepreneur in the local area starting and running many successful businesses. Mr. Schmitt has taken that knowledge of starting local businesses and help countless other aspiring business owners launch and expand their businesses in the Cochise county.
