1. What inspired you to pursue entrepreneurship?
I have two reasons for wanting to be an entrepreneur. First, I was inspired by my father. He too was an entrepreneur, owning a successful sprinkler installation business. The second reason was the appeal of having control of my success and the flexibility to accommodate my family schedule.
2. How did you go about marketing your service or product?
Aaron Witt is a 25-year-old accidental entrepreneur who has built a 19-employee nationwide construction marketing firm that specializes in telling the stories of “the dirt world,” i.e., civil construction and mining. In this interview Aaron and I discuss the challenges and rewards of starting a business, and the motivations of equity distribution.
Briefly describe your business:
Homeland Custom Carpentry specializes in finish trim carpentry, kitchen and bath cabinet installations, and custom builds.
What is your experience in entrepreneurship?
I incorporated HCC in January 2020.
What is your goal with your business venture?
To grow HCC into at least one if not multiple large business locations in the Treasure Coast/Palm Beaches region of Florida.
